Despite a cold and wet start the inaugural Ceramics Open Studios was a great success!
Huge thanks to all the participating artists, visitors, and everyone who bought work. It’s been a great pleasure to be able to share our workspaces and invite people into our studios to experience the magic of clay.

We are looking forward to rolling it out as an annual national event in 2024, with lots of learnings from this year. We are committed to making the event even better (and much bigger) next year.

Ceramics New Zealand is proud to support excellence in ceramics, champion locally made craft, and help connect artists and communities. We are looking forward to giving all New Zealanders the opportunity to step inside a working studio, develop relationships, meet neighbours, and chat all things clay in 2024.
