Kirsty’s studio is situated in the spacious sunroom of a turn of the century character home, nestled in a well established garden, a stones throw away from the beach. Drawing inspiration from surrounding coastal textures and tones, her work consists of a combination of one off exhibition pieces and a collection of every day tableware. With an emphasis on surface pattern and texture, Kirsty’s work is a collection of constantly evolving styles and themes which incorporate her skills as a creative professional practicing in various disciplines spanning 30 years in Aotearoa, United Kingdom and North America.
Enjoy a relaxing browse at her studio, observe a throwing demonstration while sipping on a cuppa and having a chat. There’s a fantastic swimming beach located across the road from the studio so if it’s a fine day, why not bring your togs and make a day of it! Tartines French Cafe in the Eastbourne Village is well worth a visit for a patisserie treat or lunch in their delightful courtyard while you’re in the neighbourhood.
