Sophie is an award winning ceramicist, as well as a pottery tutor. She runs workshops out of her own converted garage pottery studio in Thorndon, as well as setting up and tutoring at Inverlochy Art School’s ceramics studio. Sophie’s work includes small batches of thoughtfully created domestic ware, with inspiration from nature and its colours and textures. Her contemporary sculptural work draws on elements of old English ceramics, and is often influenced by her love of the mystery of the deep sea and its legends. Sophie is a keen free diver in her spare time.
